HAYMAN

It couldn't have been a better fall day. Thankfully the meteorologists guessed right this weekend and we got another 70+ sunny day. I know winter is coming and it scares the hell out of me. I had planned on spending a night out at Hayman Falls (a western Shawano county park) tonight but plans changed and I had to limit my plans to a daytime hike with Lu dog and Fink dog. Nonetheless, a beautiful day. Lu dog is snoring at my feet as I type. Despite the fact she is no trail dog, she ran her meatball ass through the woods with little complaint. A-minus Lu. Didn't take a ton of pictures but some had a few to share. Unfortunately I didn't take any pictures during the stop my Tom & Amanda's but it was great to see them.

Favorite pic of the day

Ok, maybe this one is my favorite.

Lu dog meets new dog. New dog diggin' Lu dog's goods.

I apologize to any and every one who looks at this blog thing expecting updates. I have a hard time spending one more minute on a computer than have too.

Lusinda McNamara

I am not sure if anyone looks at this blog thing any more (I wouldn't); however, I would like to post some pictures of my new girl, Lusinda. Unfortunately due to her being of the female kind, Lu will not be allowed at Guys Weekend. She still has a better shot than Kelly though. Enjoy!

Snowmobiling

Diggs and I took a day off and went up to the cottage for a day of snowmobiling (followed by the rest of the weekend with the entire fam.) We were greeted by about four feet of snow that was plowed into our driveway. After 2 hours of snowblowing/shoveling, the end was in sight. Next, the truck battery died.... It wouldn't be a Mac weekend without some sort of adventure.

I planned on taking a bunch of pictures during our ride, but we were having so much fun it was hard to stop for pictures. This one is somewhat lame but ok. We went 200 miles,... which is the longest day trip I've ever had. By the end of the ride, some Korbel was in order.

Tyler and I share many laughs when the windsuit comes out. As soon as I hear the swish swish of P.B. walking around I know things have gotten real serious. You'll have to take my word (due to the lack of a picture), but Mom followed suit shortly with her matching windsuit.

No lie. This might have been 90 seconds after the previous picture.

Winter Doldrums

As I type another cold snap looms. I am beginning to question my ability to handle much more of this weather. Sure, everyone has been saying, "This is what winter is supposed to be like." Well if this is true, winter sucks.

I find my thoughts continually drifting towards the approaching summer. There is nothing I love more than spending time at the cottage with the people I love.

Dinner with the fam during Memorial Day weekend.

It's about 100 degrees colder right now

I am proud to say my parents backyard is the greatest of all time.

Last May, I went to Governor Dodge State Park to camp for the weekend. It was an excellent time at a beautiful park. At about 4 a.m on Sunday, we awoke to a downpour and Harmer thrashing around in the dark.

Bend those knees Uhl.

Check out TJs soul patch,... wait, THATS BEATTY!

Yes, that is a tweezers.

Our site.

There were plenty of gorgeous views during our hikes.

We came upon this bluff in the pitch dark the night before.

Just a great picture

Harmer wasn't too keen on the idea to retrace our hike from the previous night.

Taken up on the bluff (missing- Immel- work, and Harmer- he was still on the bench)

Some people get freaked out by this picture, but I like it so deal...

Pinch me...

January 12th, 2008

I was lucky enough to get to go to the game this past Saturday and I must say that the game was simply unforgetable. Without question the greatest Packer game I'd ever been to. I am just going to throw up some pictures I took to briefly take you threw my day.

Morning of the game. After staying up super late the night before the game, I woke up at 7:12am. The moment I realized I was awake, there was no chance I was going to fall back asleep. At one point I was flipping threw boring channels and I saw Dwight (from "The Office") dressed up like an idiot. I immediately called Maggie but she couldn't find the channel so I took a picture of my TV.

Dark skis: This was taken pretty early in the day (probably around 12:30). Little did we know what we were about to see.

Kickoff after the games first touchdown (Favre to Jennings). The first of six straight touchdown scoring drives.

Just before the real snow started. Our seats were pretty darn good. Thanks P.B.

Just to give you an idea of what we were working with.

Absolutely incredible.

Yummy.

Sorry Mike.

It got serious.
